Project in Ménerbes

Four years ago, when we bought the holiday home in the Luberon that we had dreamed of for so many years, we realised that we had to be patient before transforming it into exactly what we wanted and needed time to get to know the best local craftsmen who were most suited to our project. This didn’t account for our meeting with Leonard Sanchez from Demeures Provençales…

A comprehensive site visit on the day of purchase, several paper sketches, and the work began a month later. Always calm and unflappable and demonstrating perfect knowledge of the building trade, Leonard listed to us, asked numerous questions about our expectations, suggested several elegant ideas and proposed the necessary technical solutions.

He and his team appointed craftsmen and managed the project with diplomacy and skill, treating everyone respectfully and explaining things where required. A high level of trust was established and with Demeures Provençales being our only point of contact, there was no need for us to visit the site.

There were no issues with time or budget; the finishes are perfect, and the overall result certainly exceeds our expectations. The service and care we received after completion has been equally good. We would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to undertake a property renovation in Provence.

 Project in Saint Saturnin lès Apt

In 2019, we undertook a large-scale project of converting a property in Saint Saturnin les Apt from two houses to one, modernising it and restructuring the layout of the rooms. We were somewhat intimidated by the idea of overseeing a project of this size. We trusted Léonard Sanchez of Demeures Provençale implicitly. Léonard acted as prime contractor, designer and architect for the entire project. He demonstrated strong design skills and recommended several innovative and frankly superb solutions to some of the problems encountered.

What’s more, Leonard was pleasant to deal with at all times and willing to help. He clearly understands the concept of great customer service, eliminating minor issues as quickly as they arise. On the financial side, costs were agreed in advance and clearly explained at all times. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Demeures Provençales for any type of project in the region.

Project in Oppède

We were immediately won over by Léonard’s understanding of our renovation project. The result is amazing. The whole team swung into action in a professional and friendly manner to deliver our dream house: a perfect balance between sophistication and authenticity, while still showing consideration for the building and the superior quality of the traditional materials. This was an excellent experience that we are keen to replicate on other projects in our house.

Project in Saint Saturnin lès Apt

In 2014, we bought a traditional farmhouse with small rooms and windows in Saint Saturnin lès Apt. Our renovation included adapting the interior space to enhance general movement within the property and take advantage of the views. Situated at the foot of the village with a beautiful view of the Luberon, Le Mas Silvestre is now a very special place.

Project in Bonnieux

Our main aim in renovating our farmhouse at Bonnieux was to make it brighter. Exterior openings have been adapted and new ones created. The floor plan and the size of rooms has also been changed. The end result is superb – a modernised and much-admired farmhouse. The swimming pool and its surrounding area have also been re-designed.
